problem: I'm adding a movie to database, but I can't find the language of the original title in the drop down menu :/ -
Just use the british flag. But keep the title in its original language.

What is more important. Original title or imdb original title?
I've got movie with original title "Something. And something else" (This title is in the movie (like title shot), poster, DVD cover, and Polish movie site filmweb.pl).
But on IMDB is only "Something"
At WTM i add "Something. And somthing else". Is it OK? -

For WTM main title, please stick to the IMDb *original* title. ALWAYS.
And then add the title you think to be the original title as an alternative title. -

Hi, first i would apologize for my english...
My question is : In the "quiz stats" of profils, there is "x feature films" and "x snapshots".
Does it mean that if i solve a snap who is still in the new submissions, i will not up my FF stats ? I guess we earn the point later when the snap goes in the Features, but i want to be sure...

Yep that's right. When a shot is in the NS and you solved it, you don't earn a point yet, but if the shot goes to the FF, you will have automatically one point for this shot

Also, shots that were in FF for 30 days go to the archive, so there you lose the point again!

Noooo, i'm talking about : "You have solved 1478 Feature Films and 1871 Snapshots in total. Your Snapshots received an overall Rating of 0.00 and were favourited an average 0.00 times." :o

Yes, I know, but if you also accidentally solved some shots that were already in the archive, you just get the total snapshots point, not the FF film point.

I have a question about rating. I found a shot rated by one WTM user. I rated it 2. Then i noticed that overall rating is 7.25. I supposed the overall rating is average of all ratings. But 7.25 coudn't be average. Even if first voter placed 10! With my 2 average is 6. What's going on? Could anybody explain it to me?

So guess the user rated it a 9 then and solved it
(3 x 9 + 1 x 2) / 4 = 7.25 -

It helps shots from lesser known movies to have more chance to be accepted.
People have a tendancy to give a lower rate for shots they haven't solved. -

At the end of The Help/FAQ page http://whatthemovie.com/page/help#wtm_bucks we can read :
"Shout at everything
Registered users are able to shout at movie snapshots, movies or other users. Shouting at Feature Film snapshots is allowed for people who have solved the still..."
This last sentence is not right anymore, is it ? -

It is, merely incomplete ;) You are perfectly allowed to shout at a FF shot if you have solved the shot. Just also if you haven't.

Hello everyone! I have a couple of questions:
A. How can I find out who adds one of my snapshots to his/her favourites? I know it's possible because sometimes I get shouts on my wall of people thanking me for the "fav".
B. Will it ever be possible to combine more than one tag in order to narrow down the searches? (I know, this might not be the right topic for such a matter :) )

Hello,
First I want to say that i I really love this site. WTM is perfect for people you like watching movies.
Then, I've got 2 questions. Sorry if there are already some answers but I haven't found it.
What the differences between the feature film score and the snapshots score on my home page (I have some ideas but I'm not sure).
In the all of fame we can see are overall position in some ranking but not in all (first solver for instance). So is there a way to know how many time I have been first solver ?

Unfortunatly, on this page there is just the 20 best first solver. It seems like we can only know our rank in "top solver" and "top contest solver" and not in the other. It's not really important but if it's possible I would like to know my rank in the other
