hello everyone! I'm new to this page, I took the liberty of publishing some of my reviews.
I saw 'It's complicated' few days ago, very funny movie, but a bit cliche. Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and John Krasinski were hilarious, tough. I'm planning to see The Road soon and Avatar, at last, before Sunday - Golden Globes.
i watched ghost in the shell yesterday. It was quite nice, but as always with anime movies i didn't see the end coming. Just went to the credits all of a sudden.
Yes I saw Sherlock and I really liked it a lot. I also saw the Back to the Future trilogy, The men who stare at goats, Hellboy and Pane e tulipani this year.
I just finished watching Pandorum. I totally missed the release, and until a friend of mine told me about it, didn't know it excisted. But heck, am i glad he told me. In my opinion Pandorum is a real pearl. Great story, and some good suspense in there too. If you like sci-fi movies, this is really a movie to watch.
Since it is a short film I wouldn't call it exactly a movie, but: Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog For a project with that little budget it simply is great. Neat story, great music and also nice acting from some of my favorite (tv series-) actors.
Avatar 3D I went to see this one so I could say "OK it's beautiful but the script is awful and the music sucks" and now I'm thinking OK the story is almost boring and TheOffice991 was right when he said it's like Star Wars meets Dances With Wolves and OK i didn't like the music BUT Waow that was beautiful And even more, I really wouldn't mind watching it again
I really liked Sherlok Holmes and I absolutely loved the books ! I saw The Blind Side and really liked it too, great "feel good movie", hard to believe it's a true story ! And Sandra Bullock is great in it, she did deserve her Golden Globe (and damn she's hot!!)
Just seen smurfs in space (Avatar). Impressive 3D visuals but would have been just as impressive in 2D and I wouldn't have to had paid the best part of £10... Entertaining (and 30mins too long) but if thats the future of cinema I think I'll stick to my DVD collection...
I Saw "Up in the Air" fantastic funny movie, with some nice acting from George Clooney. Really hope it's going to win an oscar or two. And now btw I have seen all Jason Reitmans "real" movies and I have been well entertained with them all.
Yea I saw "Up in the Air" this morning and it was really great !! Clooney was awesome and I love Reitman's screenplay he always suprises me. 6 GG nominations for only 1 Golden Globe though.
I saw "Lovely bones" yesterday... During all the movie, I thought "please anyon, kill Mark Wahlberg!!", he's so bad as a mourning father, that's a shame... Well, pretty bad movie imo, particularly from Peter Jackson, I prefered the book by far
I actually liked the Lovely Bones, I'm amazed at the critics on IMDb... very harsh ! I really liked the 1st hour then it was a bit weird but I don't know I enjoyed it =)
i watched Ultraviolet yesterday. Ehm, lets just say that mila jovovich looks quite good in it:P. Thats about the only positive thing i can name. Plus end swordfight. That was quite nice to look at. Fully deserves it 4/10 rating at imdb if you ask me though
Nooooo, I am expecting a lot from "A Serious Man" :P.
I saw Avatar in 3D last night and it was beautiful yes, but full of clichés and a little bit weak story line. The battles were tooo long. But overall I was well entertained all the way through the movie but I didn't feel with the characters.
Observe and Report . . . one of the funniest dark comedies I have ever seen . . . It's a crime this came out at the same time as Paul Blart and that Blart was more successful . . . I laughed so hard at times and at the same time felt so wrong for doing so . . . just brilliant . . .
(and I have to comment from a few posts up . . . Dr Horrible is indeed awesome)
Saw Precious yesterday, now I have seen 7/10 movies nonimated for an oscar for best picture :) I look forward to Sunday. I didn't like Precious very much, it's not the movie that going to win the best picture 2009 for me anyway ;)
Harry Brown day before yesterday, nice movie, but I expected more from it Precious yesterday, good movie, but a little slow to me The Fourth Kind in 5 minutes:)
I was waiting for a movie about remote viewing. Good flick. The ending is a little bit weak. Screenplay is from the guy who committed "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People". And the director is, huh, an actor. Why not! But hey! You have George AND Ewan AND Jeff AND Kevin. Don't complain! Especially during the scenes from the 70's with our Big Lebowski doing some military training with a very hairy Clooney. No girls around though… Mouarf!
Just joined up. SHUTTER ISLAND was the latest movie seen at the cinema and I thought it was very good, indeed. SyFy's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST was the last movie I saw and it was very bad, indeed! Bring on DINOSHARK!
