    Hi,

    I start with a "WOOOOOOOOOW WTM2 *bigeyes*"
    I´m checking out the new Features and found the Movie Reviews-Section.

    The Idea of seeing Movie-reviews of WTM-Freaks is great!!!!

    But there is something I don´t like about it:
    I went there to see what naut did write about Children of Men (I havn´t seen the movie)
    There I saw the Children of Men snapshots.
    Perhaps I am a strange kind of wtm-player, but I don´t use the "show-solution" button.
    However if i read the reviews i am forced to see pictures of the movie(even if i didn´t know the pictures were of that particular movie).

    Is it possible to add a "don´t show screenshots"-button there?

    Please think about it.

    Considering your concern:
    We're planning a "switch" in your personal settings which will let you decide, if you want to see snapshots at movie pages or not.
    That way, every user can chose on his/her own if he/she want's to be spoiled or not.

    I think he is referring to the "what the forum"-link in the boards header.
    It still links to http://whatthemovie.com/beta/forum/

    Well you could upload a index.php containing following code to "/beta/forum" to redirect to this board.

    <?
    header('Location: hxxp://forum.whatthemovie.com/');
    exit();
    ?>


    It's not a permanent a resolution, but it's easy and doesn't need any coding on the board templates.


    //EDIT:
    Had to replace http with hxxp to prevent changing the location-part of the code to a link by the boardsoftware.

    I have another question regarding reviews. On a movie's page, there's one review displayed, the rest can be accessed by pressing "show all". Am I correct in assuming that the review displayed is always the most recent one? How about randomly showing a review (like it's done on imdb)?

    And I think it would be nice if there was on the "Recent reviews" page a direct link from the review to the movie, so one doesn't have to click twice to get there. Yeah, I know, I'm a lazy bum ;)

    yeah, that link will be coming soon..

    And a method to show a random review at the movie page is also at work. But with low priority since there aren't that many reviews yet.

    On the subject of reviews it would be great if a list of your reviews could be found on your member page :)

    Would also be nice to see if you have had any thumbs up or thumbs down for a review.

    Any other reviewers have any thoughts on this?

    Yeah themooch, good idea. So far, I've been logging in with an old account to see if I got any thumbs up / thumbs down ;)
