Tonight I saw a movie and I'm 99% sure there was a still posted of that movie in the last 5(?) days, but it's gone.

Is it possible flag the removed stills as "removed" with a reason, but still keep them somewhere..

ack. maybe a notice to the poster would help to prevent some misunderstandings.
I miss one of my uploads too:
it was in the database und was correctly solved. so what was the problem?

It was a shot (b/w) of a man with glasses and blood on his face, filling almost the whole shot.

Darn. That's the one indeed :(

Nice new game concept. Describe the still and others find it.

Highrise builgings, heliopter and flying car.

My apologies for claiming the pics disappear.
(still it would be interesting to see what has disappeared and why)

There are now so many stills uploaded it's nearly impossible to find one you remember more or less clearly, especially once it has reached the "show solution" state – and the random button doesn't necessarily lead to it, either.
Therefore: Couldn't you introduce categories, e.g. like portraits, or landscapes, or animals, or black 'n white or … I-don't-know-what so it might be a little bit easier? Say I remember a stray dog I'd only have to scroll through the cats-and-dogs-section …
now, when I've finally seen the movie with that fork pattern on the tablecloth I'm unable to find this snapshot again :-%

Maybe it would be a nice idea to be able to add tags to a still. Thus you'd get two advantages:

    - If you could browse the stills you tagged, you could easily organize stills you want to put on a reminder list or something like that.
    - On the other hand you could have "categories" without having to argue about whether in which a still should be. Let the user decide by browsing the tags.

    tags is a good idea
