What do you people all like to do in your spare time, besides the obvious movie-related things? And what jobs/studies?
I am a bachelor's student Chemistry, and next to movies I like to catch bats and collect alcoholic beverages (Seriously collecting, not just drinking). I also read a lot.
I study computer science (master) and work a bit in one laboratory from my university. In my spare time i love to watch movies (surprise! :D), take photos (I'm a cruel photographer, but i can't let it be ;) ), and meet with friends to go out or just challenge in some wii games or beat'em'ups on xbox. Common nerd stuff, i think ;)
I love taking pictures, reading, watching movies (duh..), reading. I am married, have 2 kids and I used to be a secretary. I love gin and tonic but I don't collect the bottles :-))
I will soon graduate from high school where I have been reading math, biology, psychics and chemistry! Next year I will probably end up working in a kindergarten/day nursery. In my spare time I am together with my friends and sadly most my girlfriend :P. I'm using my vacations to travel around in Europe most occasionally. Then I'm a music freak who loves to go to concerts, the bands I'm listening most to atm are: Animal Collective, The Mountain Goats, The New Pornographers, Tunng, Dub Tractor, Okkervil River, TV on the Radio +much more :D. I 'm also a runner and a cyclist :P
I'm done with my MA in English language and literature and German language and literature. Now I just have to write my thesis and I will be a teacher. I'm a radio DJ and technician and hip hop and jazz dancer. I enjoy watching movies (of course) and listening to music (mostly alternative rock and trip hop). I'm mostly into languages and arts :)
I studied SPW with a speciality in people who have an intellectual disability, now I also work in this sector. in my spare time I play soccer (got to keep my health in order), read a lot of books (that gives me an advantage on WTM), do some fishing (it's very relaxing, try it sometime :D ) and sometimes I watch a movie... ;)
I'm married with my wife Linda and we have 2 cats, they also help me to solve more shots on WTM ;)
I study law, so only spare time I really have is used on spending it with my friends, watching movies and writing reviews:) But I love to read, take pictures...and because of my friends who love music as much as I love movies I'm forced to go on various concerts, which is tiring, but a lot of fun:)
I study economics, play darts, go to the fitness and play wtm.. That's all.. I don't eat, sleep or whatever. Just studying, darting, fitnessing and WTM-ing :D. The perfect circle of life...
I am married and I have a 14 year old daughter. I work as secretary for a lawyer. I like to watch movies at home and in the cinema, watch tv series, read books, take pictures, listen to music, go out with friends and work in the garden. Oh, and I like play wtm of course.....a lot.
i'm studying business mathematics and economics (am in my 3rd year right now). apart from movies i'm really into concerts/music (pearl jam and dredg being my favorite bands), playing/watching football (have been a werder bremen supporter ever since i can remember), reading/writing (especially short stories) and, of course, beer (i'm german, after all). i'm also really interested in foreign languages. already learned english, latin and russian (only for 2 years, though) back in school, and now i'm trying to get a hold of swedish (at university) and dutch (on my own). :)
My spare time is spent with WTM, movies, music, books and the x-box 360. In my life outside my house (I'm kind of a hermit, and happy to have a fellow hermit the last 5 years :) ) I visit concerts, most metal and american hardcore, have a social life with some friends and a lot of skating. Longboarding that is. Oh and between spare time I work. I work with mentally and physically disabled young-adults.
i am studying psychology, in my second year now. Besides that, i practice sports a lot. I'm a member of an athletics club, train 2 times per week. I also have been swimming (competitively) for the last 14 years, so thats another 2 times training per week. Somehow i also find time for a social life, ranging from just drinking with friends (i'd like to see myself as a good beerpong player) to visiting a lot of concerts. Went to pinkpop 2 weeks ago, mostly i go to metal or metalcore concerts. Although i'm going to see Limp Bizkit soon. Childhood memories :P
lots of students here hm? ^^ well i am also one... namely an engineer (bachelor) :) apart from that i do the usual stuff which have been mentioned here already :D
besides WTM and watching movies I teach Chemistry to High School students, I play tabletennis, going to the pub with friends but my greatest hobby is beer, I want to know everything about beer. I got a lot of books about the subject. I also brew my own beer and collect beerglasses. I have about 250 different glasses now.
@LordMyst, that's funny. I actually study Chemical Engineering at the University here, and I don't collect beer, but playing cards. And I have like 250 decks lol. Collecting things is a sort of therapy. Most of the decks are still sealed, but I also use them; this is due to my biggest hobby: card magic.
ok, I just skip some obvious things like movies and music;) I'm studying law (in fact, same university as Sati) and I love cooking and baking ( cheesecake with cherries is my specialty :D). I also like watching football so I'm on cloud nine due to FIFA World Cup:) I read everything that is somehow related with India and France ( especially about history). I used to draw a lot and many of my works ended up as decorations on the children's ward in hospital where my mum works. oh, and I agree with hanske about fishing- it is very relaxing - I used to go fishing with my grandpa until the day I nearly drowned ( I can't swim) so it was the end of my adventure with fishing..
Well I'm on the last year of high school, what means extra classes on mondays, tuesdays and wednesdays, tests every saturday, almost no free time during the week (when I'm at home I have to study a lot). When I'm not studying I read some books, play the guitar, listen to some music or edit random stuff on Photoshop... Sometimes I also play some games with my young brother (he's 5). Most of the time you'll find me on WTM from friday to sunday or on holidays (that's also when I have time to watch some DVDs). This year I'm going out with my friends less than usual and the only theather we have is closed because they're adding some more rooms (3D one as well, yay). You can imagine the boredom. But I strongly hope this will have been worth in the end of the year, when I plan to apply for architecture university.
i have studied Philosophy and Humanities but I'm a professional DJ, playing electronic music. i read alot and watch movies equally. I love spending time with my girl and that's about it. Oh, and I used to do Gymnastics for 13 years but i quit a few years ago. I also collect vintage clothes from all over the world.
I recently got my degree as environmental engineer and I was applying for jobs and I got one and now I'm expecting them to call me to start. I work at a video store on weekends and we sell videogames there.I love to watch movies, tv series and cartoons, I love videogames (Final Fantasy VII, virtua tennis and guitar hero are some of my fav) and to play games on the internet. I love to hang out with my friends to watch movie, play videogame (my wtm friend are always competing), play snooker (I'm suck at it, but have fun) and of course drink beer.
