Hey everybody! I just wanted to get rid of those two stupid ads that spoil the homepage so I thought about starting 2 discussions just for that. I assume this topic is as good as any and could even be funny. Feel free to contribute, just to "delete" the ads, if anything.
Personally I don't like "Inception" at all. Only a videogame, if you ask me, and not a good one either. Up to you now!
Almost any of the Lord of The Rings, or The Hobbit movies. (I can't say all, because I bailed out early on each)
I just thought they were too freaking long. I recall watching Two Towers, and just thinking I could make it better through cutting out about 30-45 minutes
I stay away from oscar nominated best picture movies (4 movies deserved them and I own and like them). Also all Marvel movies after Winter Soldier and every disney movies since then are complete sh*t.
Basically I do not like most movies since 2015 (or even earlier). The last 10 years the movies I bought were for my collection (mostly old, very few new). Every (still remaining) studio is hellbent on making the same movie over and over and are aggressively pushing "the message" (being inclusive when it doesn't make sense). So I do not care about movies anymore and I still own about 2,000 titles on LaserDisc/DVD/Blu-ray.
p.s. Kubrick only made 2 good movies: Full metal jacket and the moon landing.
@BryanMills Thanks for contributing. Now we all want to know more about the 4 movies that really deserved the oscar! By the way, in my first shout, I forgot Marvel movies (very few exceptions). Always the same pattern: 100 million dollars on CGI and 10 cents on the scenario, which generally insults the intelligence of a 5-year old.
