Hi. I'd like to welcome you to our brand new forum. Feel free to discuss about the site or suggest new stuff. But please keep in mind, that giving away solutions for movies is not allowed and may lead to account banning.
Cool site, great work everyone. It was about time something like this appeared on the net. In a few years you'll sell it to Google for half a billion bucks, mark my words.
Anyway this forum needs a lot of work - it's in the beginning i see.
By the way, i was confused by one of the rules for uploading a picture -I saw many stills not cropped as they should be according to the rule, so i didn't bothered to crop mine also. I am waiting to be accepted now, I hope they will be :D
Keep on going!
(For the admin only)(Delete this part when you saw it if it is bug as i think) Oh...and I almost forgot. There is a bug(or it seems to me like one) on the site, not a big one but some people are abusing I am sure. When you don't know the movie you normally press 'Show Solution'. Than you actually don't have right to guess again but if you do the answer is correct and you have +1 movie guessed.
@BorjanP: basically and normally it takes one day to walk through the uploads queue. if your still wasnt accepted within two days, it got probably rejected. at the moment we dont write emails for rejected stills. but i think we can take a short discussion on this, since we can automate the sending of the mail.
ok, this is problably not the right discussion to ask this but it didnt feel right to create a new discussion just to ask one question. So here's the thing, a friend of mine didn't take the time to read the guidelines about posting and posted images from some site today. What happens?
pv: you should have a started a new discussion :) anyway: no problem with your friend, we hopefully recognize the pictures and simply don't post them. Please encourage him/her to take some screenshots himself/herself and post those.
Yeah, she did take a screenshot after i explained it, it got posted. Thank you for the answear. edit: Actually, i see now that one of the images she took from the internet also got posted, i just told her to report herself.
There should be a way to remove your own comments, like this one. The edit on the comment above was originally made on a new comment, then i though "hey, that´s stupid, i´ll just edit the first one." But then there´s no way to delete this one here.
Another thing, I´d like to remark: recently most of the movies´ solutions are the imdb titles which is o.k. but I think one should nevertheless take the trouble to at least post one alternative title and one ather language than the original one. That´s pure laziness...
@ frufru Well, half the movies I post (at least) ain't published. Since that's their website, I guess they choose what seems right given the criteria. And well, my guess is that they avoid too much nudity, porn, splatter and dismemberment :D
@ pv So you can be ashamed for a lifetime ;p
@ naut Did you guys learn the whole IMDb to recognize a picture among thousands ?
@starvey my guess is that they don't publish GIRLIE movies! :P enough with war, horror and western! publish my girlie-classy-elegant-romantic movies, will you? :)
Damn...that 4% belongs to me because i pressed the wrong button...I am feeling remorse but what the heck can I do now? I stopped the page but it loaded it anyway.
This kind of a forum is very affective and easy to work with. I like it.
This site has a strange effect on my movie watching habits: many a times I've caught myself thinking "ok, this would make a great snapshot for wtm; no, that scene doesn't work …"
