Lol @themooch it IS the scariest kid in the world though... no kidding, I had nightmares of that child. Luckily, in that dream, I won and stabbed the kid. His father got mad at me though °°
This thread should be rid of the named tags, once they're deleted on the shot. Kinda makes the purpose of the thread obsolete; might as well keep the tags in place, then, if you're not gonna remove them from here. ;)
As for Fifty's "the scariest kid in the world"..." comment; didn't work. I entered my nephew's name and it failed. :/
Actually, to people who do not know the movie, "black shoe" and "blond hair" isn't really such a great hint as you guys might think. Because they might as well be taken as purely descriptive - after all, the guy does have a black shoe and blond hair. I wouldn't have thought of googling it because of those tags.
I don't think I fully understand the reason for the tags . . . is it to search and find a certain still later, or is it to classify movies to be searched through ? What I mean is . . would it be proper to tag a movie with Comedy, Horror, etc . . or should we just stick to describing what is seen in the still ?
I think what i seen in the still is what we should consider. Because tagging with "comedy" or "color" is useless, because there are so many of em.
The reason is, if you recently watched a movie and remember seeing a scene of that movie on WTM, you can search for parts of that still and find the one you remember to solve it.
On the other hand, movie pages should be tagged with stuff like directors, genre, style or whatever. I recently did that on all Tarantino, Rodriguez, Lynch, Kubrick and Burton movies ;) (e.g. http://whatthemovie.com/search?t=tag&q=tarantino )
@ Phoenix someone is doing that a lot lately. I'm a bit puzzeled if i should delete the tag or not. As it is your shot, i'll make it your call. Leave me a shout or something
I had a tag deleted once, was a scary looking kid, and I added the tag "scariest kid in the world". OK, it was tongue-in-cheek, but it was a unique tag and stuck in the head. Someone deleted it.
Unless a tag contains a hint, or is totally inappropriate, I dont think you should ever delete them. Someone has marked it that way to find a picture in future. Thats my opinion though, YMMV.
@ themooch, thats why I am hesitating. I see a lot of boobs tags lately. While this may not be the most appropriate way to tag a shot, you do see boobs in the shot. So the one who tagged it has a point, however, i can also agree with phoenix that the tags aren't verry appropriate. What to do, What to do:P
i don't really know, it's not that i take issue with the word. I would just prefer breast before boobs, as penis before cock or something. and perhaps appropriate is the wrong word, but couldn't think of another word to describe it. Hope you see what i'm trying to say.
Yeah I would agree about removing "cock", thats bordering on vulgar I guess. But boobs is pretty harmless :) Like you said, there are boobs in the picture :)
Yeah forerunner, I saw that too, now another shot of mine has the tag babe :D http://whatthemovie.com/shot/31465 You know normally I don't really care as long as it gives no hints but I don't know, wouldn't woman be better instead of babe?... Also a tag this person could remember but not so "cheap" ;) (I'm not one of those feminists btw ;) I just don't think it's very nice somehow )
we're not supposed to tag penis instead of cock anyway, just because there is no cock pictures on WTM ;) I think boobs is a funny word, not vulgar at all.
Well checknorisk, you're a man so maybe you should ask women if they agree with you, don't you think? ^^ I personally would prefer breast ;) I don't think boob is a very bad word, but breast is nicer...
well phoenix, I asked my wife, and she prefers boobs... :))
I'm not only a man, I'm also french. so boobs sounds nice to me probably because it's not my birth language and it's hard for me to choose the more appropriate word among tits, boobs, and breast, so what do you think about nichons?
