For those of you who are interested in discovering "unknown" movies, why not promoting them here?
Without giving the title, and maybe avoiding the submission part (I dont want to influence anyone in their vote)

I can only advise you to look for this one

    http://whatthemovie.com/shot/21579

This is a jewel of cinema in every possible way, artistic, sureal, profond and simply beautifull. Hard to understand why it is not more known

    Your turn :)

In trying to figure out your movie, I stumbled upon a new project: Try to watch all the movies with the imdb keyword 'surrealism'. http://www.imdb.com/keyword/surrealism/
Just check out the trailers on youtube, some of these look amazing!

The problem with this list is that they include all movies which have only one or 2 sureal scenes: I see they even include trainspotting in there...
Here is another list from Wikipedia but far from been complete as it contains only very famous surealist directors (I also questions some of the names they put in there)
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surrealism_and_film

But I guess if you are not familiar with these types of movies, you have to start somewhere: Jan Švankmajer, The Brothers Quay, Guy Maddin, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Kenneth Anger, Luis Buñuel... are all good names...
