Yes it's Cloverfield :) It shows up in a single frame when they crash with the helicopter and the camera is acting weird.
From the trivia on IMDb: "Images from King Kong (1933), The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms (1953), and Them! (1954) are hidden within the film. Each image is seen extremely briefly, for only a single frame, during a camera edit. The "Them!" picture is shown at 00.24.06, the "Beast from 20,000 Fathoms" picture is shown at 00.45.27, and the "King Kong" picture is shown at 1.06.55."
Only two people got this one. I was hoping it would go through because its from a film which Im sure many people will watch at some point, and I really like the composition of the shot.
2 people got it, but one of those was my friend from work who watched the movie with me :( So I think one other person here got it. its a shame to see it go, but now its over to you guys to guess.
The only hint I am going to give you is :
Its a *very* early work of a legendary director. I'm not telling you which one :) I mentioned the composition of the shot earlier, that is also a bit of a clue as this director was famed for composition above all else, due to his skill in still photography.
I really like the addition too, and just when I was about to ask the question about reuploading a shot, I saw that it says that you can delete your rejected stills. ^^
to give a 'hint' yes it is Mr. belushi :) and to give another 'hint' a now quite famous actor plays in it as well, playing one of the most famous butlers ( i think ).
I edited your post to display the picture. Just put a link directly to the image file itself, rather than the html document. If you click edit on your post you will see how I did it.
ok, another hint... the actor on the far right is quite popular and has played in a movie that helped destroying the motion picture production company that was among others founded by charlie chaplin :) complicated isn't it?
Correct MisterZob :)! Good job though the last two pictures should be pretty easy, if you have seen the movie. The first shot is though nearly impossible to remember/solve.
Think that is why it was unsolved, you appear to have entered it under the wrong movie title - xxx or xxx 2 (or alt titles) is not working for that shot.
And once a shot is rejected you can't get a first solve on it :) It will stay unsolved even if people guess it right
