General: Contest #1 - Shadows

    On 4th of July at 0/12 AM (UTC) you have 36 hours to upload one or two shots which follow the subject "SHADOWS". This is free to interpretation.
    I'm writing this one day before so you have enough time to crawl through all your movies.

    Also remember to hold at least one open upload slot until then. As you know, you can only have three in the queue. In case of emergency, beg us to vote on deletion to one of your shots ;)

    The shots you upload MUST be tagged with "forum contest shadows" (in ONE tag, not three) so they can be found through tag search. Best would be to just copy and paste so you don't have an error in it.
    If you are not able to tag shots, because you don't have the necessary rank for it (at least Focus Puller), you should post a link to your shot and the magic words here. Someone will take care of it.

    You can upload a third one, but you can only choose two of them for the contest. e.g. You upload two shots and then decide to revoke one of them and upload a different one. No Problem, just remove the tag and add it to the new one. Just make sure to have only two shots tagged with "forum contest shadows" in the end ;)

    On 11th of July at 5 PM (UTC) I will open a bottle of beer*, turn on the end title of Star Wars, check all shots on the current ratings and post the best three in this discussion. Your shots must have entered the holy gates of "Feature Films" to be shortlisted.
    The one with the highest rating wins and the uploader gets a free cookie! Yay!! ... No really, we don't have a price yet. But you will get lots of honor.

    This was a really great idea !! As this was our first one . . I gave everybody a 10 rating on their snapshot . . :)

    It's been a lot of fun to see all the uploads and ideas. =) Thanks to everyone who joined the contest. :)
    I agree with you Deviant, the first one seems to have the highest ranking.
    I personally like the black and white one, which looks like it is from an old Nosferatu movie, the one with the shadow of the hand. That's very cool :)
