Where will they be reposted? to the new submission? this would be the door open to many votes for deletion of "repost". And it is not really fair for the ones that made it to the FF already and had a nice score, the second time they might get a lower one (especially because people who dont get the all thing will vote them lower or people who simply remember the votes certain ones had will want them lower...)
they've got something in mind! can't wait... to me a simple lucious golden frame or something around contest shot would be a great idea!, but i can understand they're taking them out now... i'm in the contest and even i am getting bored with all the tv's! :) prob better to judge them seperately..
Yeah . . if it's in it's own section and the shots are judged based on the contest criteria as well as the coolness of the shot . . . I think that would be nice . . .
I dont agree with you bazzy3000, I think having a certain % going through is ok but 2 is not enough and I dont see the problem of having a serie like this, even if it is a lot, going through the FF. So Naut, does this mean they will simply be re-added to the submission or will they go in a special other section? (for this I agree with Siren34, it would really be nice). I think they should just go on votes

got a slot! ;) so don't bother people!, quality isn't that good though.. this was one of the first dvd's i bought! it was in a box with 2 other movies... one of em was easy rider.. the other one was midnight express.. must be alomost 10 years ago now!
I'm wondering... one of the screenshots I uploaded for the contest vanished from "new submissions" long before the 24 hours were up...? Does this mean it was deleted for some reason or another? Last time I checked it was actually doing good with no deletion votes or anything.
hey connectiv, all of the contest entries have been put into a hidden queue, and will be released on the 9th at the same time. So your image is safe and you have your upload slots back :)
It could also be just certain criteria the screenshots have to meet. For example, the task could be to post a screenshot where the main character is visible but cannot be recognized (face doesn't show).
Or where a certain color / number or whatever is dominant.
Or to try and find screenshots that fit a certain slogan (can't think of a good one right now)
all this talk about the next theme... let's first finish this one.. then we'll have some sort of vote ey? i wonder how many shots have been entered so far....
i commented on several shots that they should enter the contest... because there was a tv in it and they didn't enter.. hope they did! wouldn't enter it for them ofcourse.. although that is possible :)
no tliff... it's all about the greatness of the shot man... i know that i'm not going to win having seen somw of the shots... the jury or voters will decide.. just make sure the theme.. tv in movies is known when people vote.. let them have a go ;)
