    As you might or might not know, whatthemovie will turn one year old on the 31. of August.
    To celebrate we'll have a new contest. The topic: Birthdays (Cakes, Balloons or anything else you can think of)

    We will implement a new contest system on the weekend so
    DO NOT UPLOAD YOUR SHOTS YET!

    This is solely an advance warning so you have time to prepare your shots ;)

    hmmm let me think.. a birthday shot, or 3 birthday shots ;)

    got one question though.. can we see the uploads before the voting starts? otherwise there might be dupes! how will this be solved?? Or is it 1 shot per movie only? better be fast if that's the case..

    question: are we supposed to keep upload slots free for the contest, or the contest uploads are a bonus beside our 3 uploads slots in the NS?

    I have a question:

    As we all know there is the rule that says that a user is allowed to upload max. 2 shots from the same movie. And I have a good idea for this contest but I already have posted 2 shots from this movie that I want to use.
    So would it be allowed to post a third shot from a movie just for the contest?

    the contest will start this evening.

    And there won't be any limitations:

    > no 1 shot/week/movie rule
    > no 2 snapshot max rule

    looks like this system has been thought through quite well!, but i thought it were three shots per person last time?! i got in 3 anyway!, i would like to know coz i got three lined up at the moment... have to think about what to loose in case it's only 2 uploads!
