    what size should each ratio?
For my short know about films and the readings I did on the net, ratio is related to proportions, I do not think there is a standard size for each ratio, but still my shots from older movies are constantly being deleted on the grounds of the ratio wrong ...

All movies have different ratios, that's true. Still, if you see a shot that looks vertically or horizontally stretched, the ratio is wrong (You can also check the ratio on IMDB, but there may be other versions available).

Could you maybe post some shots that got rejected because of a bad aspect ratio?

Wouldn't "original video source size" be the best one to use?

edit: and tick "keep original resolution" ?

tnks zob, you are the best! it was marked original video source (what I thought made more sense) but if so it should be, so it will be!

Actually it's not, because DVD pixels are not square.
