    We've just announced the new contest "Product Placement".
    The topic was decided on this poll: http://forum.whatthemovie.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=484

    The Basic Rules:
    > 3 Snapshots maximum per person
    > 1 Snapshot maximum per movie
    > Only snapshots with a clearly visible Brand (except Apple)
    > Brands can also be ficticious

    Uploading will begin this Friday (October, 9th, 20:00 CEST)
    Guessing will begin one week later (October, 16th, 20:00 CEST)
    and it the whole show will be running for 2 weeks (until October, 30th, 20:00 CEST)

    Rewards are as usual:

    1st = 15 awesome uploads
    2nd = 10 awesome uploads
    3rd = 5 awesome uploads
    4th and 5th = 2 awesome uploads
    6th till 10th = 1 awesome upload

    (for both Uploaders and Solvers)

    I understand there are too many movies showing Apple laptops or other equipment in use. But a real Apple *add* being featured in the movie? Why should that be banned?

    (Yes, I admit, it's personal too, I found such a nice shot...)

    Does it count for all uploaders together?

    So, if anybody uploads a shot from, lets say lord of the rings 1, nobody else can upload a shot from this movie?
    I am asking because i got the message "Sorry, there are no upload slots available for that movie." twice, while trying to upload my prepared snapshots - and yes both are popular movies ;)

    Jep, only one shot per movie in total, so you have to be quick with uploading your shots, especially if they're from popular movies.

    The first shot I've send in yesterday is wrong,it should come in the new submissions . It shows no brand what so ever,can any of the mod's do that ?

    didn't you guys see the contest take of?? 22 uploaders in 5 minutes ;) you really need to be fast! this will be the biggest contest on wtm ever... it's fun to see people are enthousiastic.. but you need to be fast.. i was here way before 8 CEST.. i think next contest uploading a movieshot will be even harder :)

    Also depends on the subject, it's quite easy to find some nice stills with product placement.

    There is much truth in what you said bazzy!
    But I must confess that I felt encouraged by the fuss! Here in Brazil the contest began at 3pm and as I am unemployed I was ready in front of the pc! (but really, if it was at night ... belongs only to God!)

    When I enter the vault it says "Score: 189/252 solved" but on the highscore I have 187. Have shots been deleted? Because I don't think it's because of slow updating, I've been -2 shots for more than one day.
    Just wondering.

    Great contest by the way! Some really hard shots in there =)
