Just wanted to know if anypart of the movie is allowed in the snapshots for instance those two: If a movie uses newsreel inside, or if a movie uses excerpts from another movie inside...
1. Take the snapshot yourself! Don‘t rip it from elsewhere How to take a snapshot? 2. Use the original DVD to take the snapshot; We won't accept low quality! Cut away harcoded black bars. You are not able to post more than 2 snapshots of the same movie and have more than 2 snapshots simultaneously in the category New Submissions. Read more about this subject here 4. Don‘t post the same or a similar snapshot, which has already been accepted at WTM. Wait at least 2 weeks before trying to repost a shot that has been rejected. 5. No snapshots from trailers, tv broadcasts or movies which are not yet availiable on DVD; No Porn; No racist material; No unsuitable content. No snapshots from shortfilms and straight to DVD movies.
Nothing there about inserts from other media, so yes, it is allowed.
