I wonder if some people have organized meeting in real life ? For those interested we could do a gathering together, depending of course where we all live... If there are any french members in here, would be happy to meet some in Paris.
Ideas we could do: * go to a movie together * meet in a bar and do a live WTM (like everyone brings some screenshots printed on paper :P) * create a party and have fun :P
we've had this idea a while ago and posponed it to some time in the future (wait for WTM to grow more active members, which are likely to visit such an event)
The idea was (as you suggested, cotp) to have some kind of live WTM (not on paper, but with a projector on a wall) and to bring the community together :)
But not just in Paris, we thought of a little tour, maybe Munich, Amsterdam, Paris. (sorry, no Brazil or England - we keep it to Europe soil for the initial trip)
The only problem we are facing at the moment is: 1. There are likely not enough players which would join us in one of the cities and 2. We don't have a proper location :) We don't want to go to a public bar, a cozy appartment of a dedicated player would be perfect :) I could probably organize a place in Munich.
But thanks for mentioning this topic - We'd be delighted to know if some of you would attend such an event (or could even offer a location :)
Well, two of the WTM players in Australia (I wonder how many there are? I know of three) will be getting together in December. My daughter is coming up from Melbourne for Christmas. :)
Thank naut for posting, yeah didn't think of the projector, better idea :P I have one if that's any help (but my appartment is too small to receive people :( ), I can borrow the projector if someone has a big appartement in Paris ;)
Amsterdam... well, it's an 9 hour drive for me (from Sweden) so I'm not totally sure about that. But yes, it's a grea idea and would probably be fun :)
