You can now see what movies are still missing their title shots here: http://whatthemovie.com/page/titles

It'd be great if you guys could help us out.

Nice with a list, I took some DVD's from my shelf and updated:
    Madagascar
    Knocked Up
    Revolutionary Road
    Rescue Dawn
    Office Space
    I'm A Cyborg

(Good Will Hunting and Pleasantville were already uploaded, damn you Gregov:P).
Maybe to make it more attractive uploading title shots, you could make a Hall of fame list on title shots :D!
Then I would upload about 100 more title shots :D!

About those movies that seem to have no title shot : I assume most of them actually show the title of the movie during the closing credits.
Should we upload them as Start Title anyway ?

I don't agree on The Hurt Locker. Obviously your shot comes from a german print. But this movie's original language is English (I have the same quote in English on my disc). And thus the title shot should be in English.
Plus the title of the movie can actually be found in the closing credits.

Yes I agree, sometimes these shots are in other languages. But it doesn't matter all the time. It depends on where you live probably. I have Ponyo with its Japanese title, but here it is in English: http://whatthemovie.com/shot/64392
So if what your saying is true, the title shot should be in Japanese as that's the original language.

I didn't notice the title shot in the closing credits. Can you replace it then?

I agree with MisterZob, title shots should be in the original language. Also for Ponyo in my opinion.

    Then you should delete mine.

I also uploaded Vanilla Sky: http://whatthemovie.com/shot/84227
It is at the end of the movie. When uploading it still says: start title and end title. But then at the description you see they mean Title Shot and 'The End' shot.

I think we should really make a distinction by this. The Vanilla Sky shot is at the end, but not really a end shot like: 'The End' or 'Fin' or something. However it is also not at the start, but I just uploaded it there. I think it fits most.

    heyho,

    i got a question about title/end shots:
i thought the start title shot is a shot with the title or some sort of text from the beginning of the move - before or after the first scene - and an end title shot is just the screen before the credits or sometimes in the middle of the credits with an unique text about the movie.
or should the start title shot contain the title of the movie and the end title shot only be something like: 'the end' or 'fin'?

uploaded something for public enemies :) http://whatthemovie.com/movie/public_enemies/snapshots
