The situation will NOT change unless we change the whole rating-system. Fact is, a certain amount of shots (the highest rated) get accepted. If these shots are around 3.5 and the highest rated they will get accepted, if these shots are around 9.5 and the highest rated, they will get accepted. Ratings don't matter, only RELATIVE ratings do.
It is still possible to get your shots accepted on rating alone, it just is harder because there are more users/uploaders now, for the same number of accepted shots. -
We know that Asmodai, this topic is mere for the frustrations about the lowness of the ratings.

The brazilian website is not that bad! And the knvb website is almost new to me. The only words are puta and tom hanks :) I'm guessing 'filhos' means 'sons' or 'kids', and 'da' means 'the' or 'of'. Is Merda the same as the french merde?
And 'todos' means 'all', or something :) -

Some bad words for you, guy!
Escroto means scrotum, but in this case means brazen bastard. :]
Foda = fuck (in this case, but it could be a nice thing too)
Foda-se = fuck you
FDP = filho da puta - son of a bitch
viados = faggots
merda = merde = shit
corno = a hasbund cheated by his wife.
Caralho literaly means dick but caralho is the most complex word in brazilian portuguese. It could be anything you want, and when I mean anything I really mean it. The meaning depends of intonation that you want to give.
In my text, the first caralho means 'look' and the second one means 'fuck'. It most used like a superlative or diminutive, like a EST in english.
Example:
* The sky has many, many stars. (O céu tem estrela pra caralho!) - Pra caralho = many, many.
* The atom is the tiniest part of matter. (O átomo é pequeno pra caralho!) - Pequeno pra caralho = tiniest part of matter.
If you speak this word for some brazillian friend, it will be 'very, very funny' - 'engraçado pra caralho'. 'They'll gonna laugh a lot' - 'eles vão rir pra caralho'.
If you wanna curse someone or write a poem, portuguese is your language. Particularly the brazilian portuguese.
