@Headlock I think that if you know the movie, the character, the actor, the context of the shot you'll find it funny, but if you (like me) don't know even the movie, the character and the actor... What's left ? A shot with a guy smiling... a shot you can do with your friends and a cellphone... And you find the shot boring. It would be the same if i send the same shot but from an unknown movie with an unknown actor with the same ridiculous smile it will get a 4/10... (except if you are a fetishist of readheads of course ;)
This is a great movie, there are no snapshots of it yet. So I thought I'd upload an easy shot since it's an relatively unknown movie. (it's even the same shot as the cover of the dvd) Help me out here people!
The shot as nothing interesting. It even comes from a movie that has never been released in theatres ! But as they solve it (thinking about another famous title), the players vote stupidely, wishing they could have an easy point in FF...

Oh..! Someone told me if the rating is greater than equal to 7.8, it'd automatically get selected. So I thought mine was the case of so-close-yet-so-far. thx for the info.
No, from all the shots that have less than 24 hours left in the New Submissions, about every hour the shot with the highest rating automatically gets selected. It can happen that your shot gets accepted with a 7,8 because that is the highest rating at that moment. It also can be rejected with an 8 when there are 24 shots even more awesome than yours posted in the same 24 hours as your shot.
So you have to have a little luck or a very awesome shote:)

for what it's worth bazzy, I rated your rejected shot 10/10 because I thought it was beautiful. Nice use of color! I love the second one, but I'm not a big fan of the third. But overall, you post great shots!

I think you are accusing the mods of having no life, because the two so called masterpieces are pushed by the mods and therefore have nothing to do with the low ratings... (don't know about LordMyst's shot, but the one of AlexZardoz is pushed for sure)

but to be honest, the whole thing isn´t worth wasteing this energy on it. yes i play a lot of wtm but i also have a real life. and in this real life i am now going to pick up my seven year old cousin from school and have an awesome day with him. play in the dirt and talk about zombies :) and btw, sometimes i let him vote on wtm, he usually gives those b&w shots a 10. taste...either you seem to have it or you don´t.

I truly believe you are overreacting with this, so what! there are boobs in the FF. You are promoting 2 months penises and almost all the shots are getting through. Some shots are also not worthy for the FF but they get through because people are voting for the PSM. I can imagine that some people are getting tired of the penis shots and that they are uploading boobs shots and because some people are agreeing with the uploaders, they vote high for boobs
And you say maybe Pala is right and maybe I am going to follow him. You know I agree with you that WTM is not the WTM when we started. I am also not so active anymore. But to delete your account is getting to far in my opinion. Just play like me once a week and you will just be fine ;)

Personally I don't like either boobs or penises on shots when I play wtm, but I observed there is better chance of having...less cheap shot when there is female body on it. Those close ups of dicks are annoying. This is a movie site not porn site and I don't think it's the place for boob/dicks war you are apparantly trying to inforce. At first all those shots were fun but now when I play and every fifth shot or so is a penis I'm getting tired of this. It's what the movie not what the penis. That's said it was a cool initiative given that female nudity is so frequent in movies and male actors almost never go full frontal. But I think it went too far and it's boring and irritating now, at least for me.
