I used to play online as well, but I was more of a sng / tournament player than cash game.
At the moment I kinda made a break and cashed everything out, so maybe my skills are bit rusty.
If we get more people who love to play poker in here, maybe we can arrange something like a 5$ tournament on one of the bigger sites. (even with just 10 players it would be fun)
Or another idea...how about a charity tourny for WTM with a really small entrance fee like 1 or 2 $ ...the whole prize pool goes for the site, but the winner gets 1 year supporter subscription or Top 3 win some AU etc. (can be modified depending on how many people would participate). :)
I like the idea...maybe such a tourny could be hold once in a month if there is enough interest.
I guess we would play the most common game Texas Holdem No Limit then, if everyone agrees.

I know people usually don't like to read a lot about the rules, but if you are a beginner it would be good to read this at least, to get an understanding of what is happening at the table.
It's really a short guide, most important for you would be to look at the "Poker Hand Ranking" and when you scroll down a bit to see the "How to Make a Hand" Section + read "The Basics"
The good thing about Texas Holdem it's a nice card game you can learn very fast within a few minutes, but it needs a lifetime to master it. :)
I will go open an official "WTM Poker Night Thread" and we can discuss there about the location, time, buy-in etc. and get more people interested for this event!

First of all, I was seriously planning to go to Utrecht but work got in the way. Then I realized there was a 5 days vacation the next week with my little princess.
