Honestly, I haven't seen like 90% of this list :P I'll just trust whatever you guys say until I do so.
So now that you asked, how do -you- feel about it? ^^

The noms for the Tourist and Alice in wonderland are a joke. The tourist isn't even a comedy.
Thank God Mila Kunis got a nod. And it's so obvious Douglas got a nod out of sympathy.
Awful nominations, no Black Swan in screenplay and score is a scandal.
The whole comedy category seems like they didn't have who or what to nominate. Where is Due Date? Get him to the greek? I know these movies didn't get best reviews but for the love of God, The Tourist has 20% fresh reviews on rottentomatoes!

I'm pretty sure TSN, The Kids are all right, Fincher, Franco, Portman, Bening, Gyllenhall are going to win.
And it looks like Bale is finally going to get something, oh please, than he will look normal in his movies.
I'm gonna be quite unhappy that Fincher is going to win not for his masterpieces, se7en or fight club but for simply a very, very good movie - TSN.

I'm with Sati here. I didnot see the Tourist yet but I'm sure it will not be a very good movie (and I'm a Depp fan). I didn't see The Swan either but expectations are a lot higher there.

I saw the trailer of Black Swan
It is almost the same story of the anime Perfect Blue (anyone agreeing with me on this?)

but almost all movies I haven\t seen yet

I only saw Inception, Alice in wonderland, The Kids are Alright, Town, Despicable me, How you train your dragon, toy story 3

but I don't care for awards
It'ss not giving something extras to a movie

Having read two versions of script for BS and now the synospis of Perfect Blue - yes there are some similirarities it seems, but only in the beginning. The finale of the story in BS is mindblowing and I count days to the moment I'll see it, because my imagination is running wild for over a year now:)

I'm glad you say that, I hated The Hurt Locker so much. Although last year was pretty weak overall. This one is so mucb better.

What was there to hate about one of the best antiwar movies in the history of film?

The pointless constant shaking of the camera, the (lack of) convincing performance of the main actor, the greyness of the film, the lack of anything original.... The only thing I actually liked was Guy Pearce.

yes, exactly Asmodai. Except for me the only thing I like was Ralph Fiennes randomly showing up in the middle of the desert.
It's as if this guy had a psychic who tells him which movies will win Oscars.

Watched Le concert (2009)(France) and Kray (2010)(Russia) today. Poor French and Russians if these are their best movies. :-)
I look forward to seeing Hævnen (2010)(Denmark), though.

I want Kunis or Carter to win, but I think it may be Kunis to win. Although it's Academy's role to surprise in a shocking way and Globes's role to award those who deserved it for a long time, so maybe Carter. Damn, can't decide, either way I'll be very happy!

    Best Director - Motion Picture
I want Arronofsky, Fincher will win

    Best Screenplay - Motion Picture
TSN will win, Black Swan should

Best Original Score - Motion Picture
Black Swan which should win is not even nominated, so I couldn't care less

    Best Animated Film
    Toy Story 3

OK, so when there will be the "real" ceremony? Cause I don't believe that Social Network is the best movie they saw last year.
Best movie, best screenplay, best original score (sic!)?!
But I guess that happens when good movies aren't even nominated (except for Inception, Black Swan and propably Fighter) :/

There is no way The Social Network won't win the Best picture. It's set in stone now. And it's a great movie so it deserves it. Globes did the justice and gave award to Atonement instead of No country but TSN swept too many awards given by the same very peoploe who give Oscars.

    Best moment ever:D
