Basically you mean people turning into ghosts? I would say yes, but only if it's still a transition, so no movies about people who are continually semi-transparant ;)
A shadow is different from a silhouet, bazzy. With a silhouet, you can see the person directly, but only the outline, the actual face etc. is dark. This is indeed caused by a shadow, but that doesn't mean that it is the same thing. Also, because there were only 15 shots in this contest and lots of people suggesting it in the suggestions topic, I have decided to put it among the options. If you don't agree, feel free to not vote on it :)
Silhouettes, nice! btw.. "sex & penises" - isn't it porn? =) I just remember all the porn kickvotes a year ago and now many many discussions and shots are about PORN - what happened? I'm just wondering... and now a contest, holy banana! Anyway, I'll rock everything. ;-)
I agree silhouette is way to closed to shadows imo, I dont see the point for the same contest again but if you guys chose it, I dont mind, it was a small contest with only 15 participants or something. Hard choice, I would love 4 of them, I hope the same poll will be used for a while after :) I go for Nudity, go go Nudity I hope hugs and kisses wont make it, I so hate those shots in general (with a very few exceptions), they are so dull and boring and unless you really dont see the characters, there aren't much challenge in a quiz point of view. And seeing 200 shots of people kissing.... please no, it will be torture ^^
Yes. seeing 200 penises and vaginas is inspirational and fascinating. The photo of people kissing is boring but the still of a dick, oh my! groundbreaking:) We already have penis shot mission and frankly as I love good nudity and I can't wait to see some of the actors naked the whole thing is making me feel like private parts doctor. Too much, oh too much.
There are not only penises and vaginas, there are also asses ^^ but seriously, a nudity gives room for all type: luckelly nudity doesn't only involves close up of penises and vagina, you can have lots of humor, but also beautifully looking nudes, provocative, less provocative, all kind. While people kissing and hugging will just be hugging and kissing for 200 shots. I will be bored to death...
Maxi: porn would be porn, but not all nudity is porn. Especially since we now have the nice nudity & gore filters, there is no problem with this theme of contest (but I do expect you all to not take shots from hardcore porn movies, of course...)
Just some notes. There are filters to gore and nudity... So that means that people who use the filters can't participate to contest... We allready had a gore contest... So it's perhaps a shame they do not participate for a second time... I'm also afraid with this thema to have lot of shots only with a famous actor or actress naked, without any humour or aesthetical interest... that will be boring... For drugs it is noted excluding cigarettes... but how make difference between spliffs and white cigarettes on the shots ?? Who knows what they are really smoking ?? ;)
There are seperate filters, which means that some people filter gore and some do nudity (and indeed, part of them do both, but not all!). This is also their own choice, every topic has people who dislike it, and they can also choose not to play it, the only difference is that you can add a filter to gore and nudity to not see the shots, but in the case of a vault where all shots follow a theme, this has no point at all: you know the theme, and you can decide if you want to play or not. If the topic would be hugs and kisses, I doubt I would play, Chrisy also said she wouldn't like the topic, and this goes for every topic. There is always someonen ot liking it.
For the drugs thing, I trust everyone to use their common sense, and it's just there to avoid shots of packs of cigarettes. The difference between some white powder in a kitchen and a straight line of the same white powder on a mirror in a toilet is big as well, and I think we all know which would count as drugs and which wouldn't ;)
Yes, but there is a difference - there is nudity and NUDITY. I'm all for nice pictures but the close ups of asses, penises and other things like that are quite cheap and I fail to see any pros of such contest. The filter works but sometimes the nudity tag is used even if there is no heavy nudity in the picture, so the delicate shots and cheap, vulgar ones are kinda thrown into one category. However, may the majority chose :)
Another math remark: 14 topics for so few voters (no more than 100) may lead to any unpredictable result, with each new vote changing the winner ! Maybe is it intentional :)
I think a new poll after some votes might be useful to decide between two ideas which users prefer, because like elfi said, there are too much ideas here and not enough voters.
