    definitely from the 80, is about this guy who buys a videogame and it turns out to be a tape with secret information about something; and then he starts to be followed by these people.
    he has this imaginary friend, who is a general and its also a miniature (action figure sort of) that he carries around on his pocket.
    any guesses?
