I would like to know from you what movies should be added way more and what movies are completely forgotten. I think we kind of have forgotten the movies memento, road to perdition, next, american history x, boondock saints and gone in 60 seconds. And you can never post enough stills of the quentin tarantino movies and fight club. This is what brings me to the next question: What should be the maximum number of stills for a movie? I think 5 to 8 stills should be the maximum, with exception for the movies by tarantino and for fight club ofcourse!
The films you mentioned have all been posted numerous times :) but we treat new snapshots of these ones just like we treat every other snapshot.
The 30day system allows us to take multiple shots of a film, because old shots just won't give you any more points. The only limitation we have is, we won't take snapshots from the same scene, because you could look up the old one and fetch the solution for the new movie.
We're also picky, if the same movie hits the stage multiple times close to each other and try to avoid occasions like this.
In conclusion: > There is no maximum posting limit (Except for Indiana Jones, Crank and Planet Terror, haha)
This all comes down to personal taste. But whatthemovie should be for everyone. No movie should be preferred just because it's a personal favorite of some posters or moderators. ;)
So you mean, every time I don't know a snapshot I should try out "Indiana Jones", "Planet Terror" or "Fight Club"? I've never seen it that way but with this technique I could double my solving performance :-) - although I'll never watch these films :p *hiding where nobody of the above will be able to find me*
