This old movie has been on my mind for some time. It was a strange sci-fi/fantasy/adventure with a little girl (I think I remember dirty-blonde hair and a blue dress). She was (abducted? lost?) and found herself in a room. And. Then long sock puppets (blue and red and green ones) chased after her. There was a tin (sardine?) can with water/brine in it. The keys were in there. She took the keys out and put them in her mouth and made a funny face. She was trying to escape. I'm not sure if there was any aliens/outerspace involved. I just remember the socks and the keys. I'm gonna go crazy. If I don't find the name of this movie.
Thanks! The socks are definitely from this movie. I can't believe it's such a popular title, and I couldn't figure it out. Then again, I only watched the movie when I was about 4 or 5 years old. And this movie is older than I am.

I'm also looking for a film from (i guess) the early 90s, maybe older. i watched it with a friend around 1993 or so. all i remember is: there was an old man in a retirement home and he always dreamed of a door he should not open and an unknown old woman talking to him. some day this old woman is brought to the retierment home in a wheelchair and can't talk. that's all i remember (yeah i was young.....). i have no idea if this movie was good, but i found it quite scary. i hope someone can help me. would be nice to refresh some good old memories. thanks!
