Type in the title and press search. Usually a Link will appear through which you can add the movie. If a list of outher movies appear you can search with the IMDB-link or something like that
I added a new title for "Roma, citta apperta", but made a mistake. I wrote "Open Cityu" instead of "Open City". I pressed "enter" instead of "delete". How can i delete the wrong title?
Might be a stupid question, but I guess you guys have a "Moderator" part of your forum or something? Because on the frontpage in "Recent Action in the Forum" it says that the last updated thread is the "Cheats" thread, where I get a "Some problems were encountered" message.
Got a question :3 can I create a movie page not being a donator yet? I recently bought a movie and I'm very sure there was a page for it, but it seems to have been wiped or something, cause I can't find it anymore =o then I thought about redoing it, and haven't found a button of "create movie page" or anything alike.
Hey Sunset, there is no way to delete a movie page atm (unless naut or tliff nuke it which I doubt) so if it was here once, it still should be.
Can you do me a favour, and find your movie on imdb, and copy the "tt0000000" reference from the address ? Once you have that, try searching for the movie on WTM using that tt reference.
e.g : Pulp fiction has the imdb address: www.imdb.com/title/tt0110912/ , and you can find it on WTM by searching for tt0110912 (in the search box at the bottom of most pages)
If you still cant find it, the option to add a movie appears during the upload process. When you upload a shot, if WTM can't find the movie you are searching for it gives you a link which says something like "my movie is not listed - create it" or something. Click it and voila, you can add the movie.
One of your snapshots has been accepted = it went through based on the scores/votes from users One of your snapshots has been magically accepted = the image was going to fail but a moderator saved it.
With VLC you can also select what to use to make your snapshot. Normally it's default, but you can also select something like Open 32 and DirectX. I have a list of 8 or something. You can always try the different options?
I have 212 solves, which stands for 8.22%, and I am on rank 1468. shithappens has also 212 solves, but it stands surprisingly for 8,21% and is therefor on rank 1469? forumquedizni had also 212 solves, but is seems to be 8.2% of all Feature Film shots, and is also one rank lower?
Hiya! Got a silly question for you guys :3 how are captchas generated? I always noticed some weird and funny combinations, but this week it was striking. Got a "whisky $3.0" so hmm, started laughing loud and now it's been bugging me. And heck, that's cheap whisky! Does scruffy do that? Is there a database of combinations of words? Mebbe magic? ;3
I don't know bout that, but I think it's just randomly generated. I've got a few funny combinations too, maybe we should open a topic where we can post these things.
Are the uploads of contests and Title/End-shots counted to the maximum number of uploads per film? i.e. if you aren't a WTM-supporter, you may upload 2 shots per film. What if you already added two shot of one movie in contests, are you still allowed to upload a shot at the New Submissions?
Hello. I see that we can bookmark snapshots using the flag button right next to the fav button. But where can we find all the snapshots that we've "bookmarked" ?
Can someone explain me why not all the shots from the movie, that are in the archive, are not shown in Upload? Today I put a picture from Pirates of the Caribbean. When I checked (Section 4) it was not shown. A few minutes later, I received information that a dupe, and that the shot was removed. Why this shot like the others was not shown during Upload?
Hey Talie =) I'm guessing movies that are on Feature Films don't show in the list of shots that were uploaded for the movie. You kinda have to know what's been around for the last days when you upload something from a famous movie. Otherwise it'd be very simple to spot hard shots from famous movies, I think.
Yes, I know, that the movies, which are in FF are not shown in archive. But the shot, which I upload today, was in archive. It was upload by Daria in March 2010. I'm talking about the umbrella floating on the sea. It can be seen in the second picture, it is the first in the third row. And still it wasn't shown during upload. I just wonder why ?
Actually, the same thing happened to me a few times lately. For example #77527 ( http://whatthemovie.com/shot/77527 ) is not shown during the upload process even if it is in the archive and shows on the movie page.
Hi guys, Is there a way to browse through your bookmarked shots? And through shots you commented on? Would be a great feature to be able to browse through a customizable subset of shots.
Maybe this is already discussed before. If so, my bad, I couldn't find it.
I appreciate the work you did to answer me. However, that way you get all bookmarks on a single page. I would like to browse through them with the <next> and <previous> links. Like browsing through The Vault, FF and such. I guess we have to wait for that then :) Rss is a nice suggestion, I'll try that on some shots.
I assume we still use the original title from original language and not the English title, when creating a movie, is this true? Cause when creating a movie it says 'Enter the main title at IMDB.com and specify the language' but imdb changed all titles in English now. Maybe that sentence should be changed.
